My chicks arrived in 24 hours of shipping. All were alive healthy and vocal. I ordered months in advance to get the selection I wanted. Communication via email was excellent then and now live phone help is amazing!!! I would never order anywhere else. I ordered way more than I needed and a friend who has had no success with the local tractor store saw mine and asked if she could buy a few. We will split this year and next year we will order together. Customer service has been outstanding and they have been quite patient with my numerous phone calls! I can’t say enough good things about this hatchery! I am retired from USPS so I’ve had my share of chick orders arrive in and I’ve seen a lot of chicks not arriving well. This is my first time ordering from Mt. Healthy Hatcheries. The experience has been excellent! I have had birds from them before, however they were bought from our local feed store. Never lost a bird from them and all have been healthy and energetic. So we decided to order our 25 ducks from them. Because of the healthy birds and the best prices. They sent us 27, sent us a message saying they were on their way and they arrived the next day. When we went to the post office to pick them up we opened the box in the car before we traveled back to the house and all 27 of them popped their cute little heads out. Unstressed and happy. Once in the brooder they were eating and drinking right away and running around. Still doing wonderful now and it's been 4 days. Thank you! We will be ordering from them again.
We ordered 17 pullet chicks this spring, several different kinds. They arrived energized. Eventually, we realized there was even an extra in there, which was nice, because one ended up being a cockerel. They met their milestones early, have been a lot of fun for the family, and are finally giving us eggs! I just ordered 10 more from Mt Healthy :)

We ordered 40 of the pullet variety pack. These chicks arrived safely and as promised. We have now had them 6 weeks and not a single one has passed away. They are the healthiest chicks we have ever purchased. We received 4 different varieties and they are thriving as expected. We could not have had a better experience and we will definitely order from them again! Two photos posted, one from the 1st day and one 6 weeks later.
My experience was a good one. Customer service was very accommodating, courteous and quite helpful. My new chicks arrived, alive and well.

We've had our chicks for almost 3 weeks now, and they are doing great! They arrived healthy - one even jack-in-the-boxed right out of the package when we opened it!
